I know me, Tigs and Andy do, and I think you do as well green. I guess most the RPers do as well. I guess I'm just curious, and wondering if that could be utilised in the future in some way lol I'm wondering if a writing contest may be fun, but I'm also having thoughts above and beyond that. Can't wait to try out a demo! The quest journal looks good, although I have reservations about the mini map you can look at.

Is that available on all maps instantly? It seems like it takes away the discovery and exploration aspect if you can just zoom out and see where everything is.

edit: At the very least don't show where Chests are and have some 'hidden' quests you can't see on the mini map.

edit2: Or (dunno how possible this will be) have a 'fog of war' type thing, where mini maps start off black and they uncover as you explore the map. That would be a cool way to do it I think, but still don't show chests imo

Edited by LagunaX1 - Today at 7:44am

I got the book I ordered 'On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft' by Stephen King. It will be a great and inspirational read I'm sure. I'll have to set aside some time for it each night, I hope it will be helpful to my own writing and a nice insight into the best living author. (My opinion, I don't care who you think is better. No offense lol I also think he's better than most dead authors as well btw).

Also I am going into town with my friend, going to go get myself a Library card and check out the Library, get something to eat and walk about town doing random stuff like tossing roses at the foot of the shop that has probably replaced GAME by now. Been a while since I went into Mansfield so seeing GAME not there may blow my mind lol

Still recommend Spotify and still post songs I like on http://www.tumblr.com/blog/lagunax1music. Even if you don't want Spotify you can youtube the songs and listen to them that way, if you care enough I guess lol

My plans for tonight... Well this weekend I hope to start on writing and get some early nights ready for Monday when I'll be back into my routine. Then I should be getting more work on my portfolio, writing and RPGLegend done.

Also a note to Henry, because I think you was serious. I was joking when I said I turned down your list in my PM, but if you found someone else to do it, feel free to send me more stuff lol

edit: Actually maybe I should include youtube links with the music I share on my tumblr, wouldn't take long to do hmm...

Edited by LagunaX1 - Today at 7:38am

I just have to create an additional event page for every possible variable that could come into play, so it's similar to what you had described. To make it easier for myself, I'm only going to use them for when you're in the right town to begin with.

For example, you are on the World Map. The area in which you are supposed to go is indicated by the red blip. You go to a different area that does not have a red blip. While you are in this area, there will not be red blips leading all the way back to the world map, as you knew that wasn't where you were supposed to go anyways. I plan on doing it this way because otherwise I would have to add variables for every single quest into every transfer event.

Basically, the area you're supposed to be in will always be shown on the world map, and once in that area it will always show you where to go.

So is a >1 OR b >1 OR c >1 OR d >1 ... Then show the blip if one is greater than 1.... If this is how you are doing it, then I think I understand. Correct me if I am wrong.
